Depending on the destination, it may be difficult to use Facebook groups or WhatsApp to communicate.

When in Destination, you saved all your money for the wedding so if you pay extra for items you forgot it’s no big deal. What will shock you are the prices for convivence you will pay for the most basic items we take for granted at home. At the pool we all want to enjoy ourselves. when the big and little kids are not having a good time, we feel we need to perform as entertainment director or we want to pay for what will keep them occupied. You will be shocked at the prices in the stores at or near the resorts. what you would buy in a store for a few dollars here will cost tens of dollars in destination.
We have tried all sorts of pool toys, gimmicks and fads. The Reliable Inflatable Round Tube is light weight, small and cheap. You can get a multi-pack for your little ones for half the price of one in destination. you don’t need anything fancy. you don’t need cup holders, headrests or foot accessories. the only tip we can give is to not buy a dark colour Inflatable tube because the sun will make it to hot to touch in left in direct sunlight. Choose a unique, light pattern that everyone else at the pool will have.

When we go through our checklist of items to take with us to the destination, we remember the basics. Sunscreen, Travel Sized Toiletries, Swimwear, sea sickness bracelets, Imodium, Pain Medication etc. What experienced travelers will know is that when you travel as a group, there will always be one person who forgot to put on sunscreen or for got to reapply the sunscreen after 5 hours of fun sun play. This poor unfortunes soul will most likely go past burnt strait into blisters. From shameful personal experience we have dealt with such an ordeal. usually its one of the important members of the wedding party.
Finding and purchasing sun blister relief in destination can be very difficult to acquire. Think ahead and get some Solarcaine in gel form. The very sore person in your wedding party will thank you and you will have a very burnt but happy person attending your wedding.

While preparing for your trip we assume that if I buy insurance then I’m covered. when traveling with a large group it is inevitable that someone will get a minor injury. when in destination the doctor while covered by your insurance provider will have a deductible. For minor scraps and scratches I’m sure you don’t want to test your deductible price with what will just require a Band-Aid. The stores in destination will charge a small fortune for a box of Band-Aids and then will not be waterproof.
Think ahead and get some Clear Hydro Seal Bandages or you will be replacing them hourly for the entire trip.

Packing for your trip can be stressful. you have to think about the wedding attire, the pool, the beach, sleep wear. the hardest decision is always footwear. Shoes are heavy bulky, expensive and delicate. when making a footwear choice, think about your destination and what you will be doing. a nice pair of ankle high top running shoes seem nice but are impractical when you are in and out of the sand and water. natural materials are effected by lotions, sun, sweat and temperature. what fits at home may not fit in destination.
Make sure you have comfortable Closed-Toe Sandals that look good at the pool and the restaurant. You will find with experience that if you bring single purpose shoes, you will spend most of your time running back a forth to your room, constantly changing.
